As we come towards the end of the year the whole Vetro team wanted to wish everyone a very happy festive season and would like to say a HUGE thank you for all your continued hard work and dedication this year.
2023 has been a busy and challenging year for many of us involved in the Health, Social Care, Education and Housing sectors and its been no different here at Vetro. We wanted to give you a few of the highlights of what we have all achieved together this year.
We launched a shiny New Website
After a lot of discussing, designing, planning and testing we are very pleased with our new website that was launched in September. We wanted to make a website that was easy to navigate, full of resources for both our candidates and clients from interview tips and guides to support you in starting a new role successfully and most importantly jam packed with the best jobs in the market. We are so proud of our new website and we hope you all find it useful!

We moved our new HQ
In August we moved into our new larger Caerphilly HQ to facilitate us through our next phase of growth. We wanted a space big enough to not only accommodate our growing team but also an office big enough for our clients and candidates to use as well as a space for us to train our staff.
With the new office, we of course had to upgrade Al's BAR! We have been hosting many fun days at Vetro HQ for our consultants and were even able to open the offices to our candidates with open days!
We opened a Swansea office
To further support our clients and candidates in South Wales we opened our Swansea office in September. Headed up by our experienced Senior Consultant Adam Macauley the office has flowen out of the blocks with an initial focus on the Health, Social Care and Housing markets and Education being opened up there in early 2023.
We launched a new Housing division
In April we opened up our Housing Division to be headed up by the very experienced Omar Salmman. The division has gotten off to a great start and the success has led to Omar becoming the Divisional Manager for the whole of the Health, Social Care and Housing temporary and contract team. Omar has over 8 years of experience within the social care and housing recruitment sectors and has been an amazing addition to Team Vetro!

We have given away £1500 to our 3 lucky Golden Ticket winners
We love to give back to our candidates so this year we changed the Golden Ticket draw from once a year to once a quarter giving more of our candidates a chance to win! As a working candidate for Vetro you are given a golden ticket entry for every 150 hours you work for us. The more hours you work the more tickets you get! Find out more about our Golden Ticket Here

We've had lots of promotions
We had lots of promotions and one very exciting promotion earlier this year! Kerry Brown was promoted from Divisional Manager to Associate Director for the Permanent Division. Kerry and her team find great jobs for our candidates across the whole of the South of the UK. We are so proud of Kerry and no one deserves this more than her! What a way to mark your 6th year with the business.
We’re walking 52 peaks in 52 weeks
We started a new fundraising campaign for BulliesOut and are walking 52 peaks in 52 weeks! We have so far raised £238! If you want to donate then please use the link below!
We're having an open day!
From the 14th to the 16th of December and the 21st to the 23rd of December we are holding 6 open days. Come and meet your consultant, discuss your current placements and look at the best work for 2023 over a mince pie and a Baileys.
